Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and author who won several prizes. She has been acclaimed by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. Beginning she was employed as an assistant to photographers. Later on she shifted her focus to modeling and directing. The award she received was her Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was a huge hit that brought fame to the world in addition to being an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films she was deemed one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. Her handprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
