Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress, best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. Later, in 1956, she got her first big break on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, It's Tina Time. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Little Acre, a film about drama that was released in 1958.The movie received wide acclaim and Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. At the time, she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and developed her association to Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour continued to successfully move between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she also has made her name as a successful director in several well-known television series such as Supernatural or The 100. Born on August 28, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. Then she settled in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
