Cecily strong

Cecily Legler Strong has been a popular American actor, comedian and performer on the show 'Saturday Night Live. Her career began in theatre and she found herself attracted to comedy after she took an improv course at nine years old. The initial plan was to become an actress but soon realized she had a talent for comedy. Therefore, her focus shifted from acting towards the improv. Her first professional gig was with a cruise ship performing with other members of Second City Conservatory & iO Chicago. Strong was able to continue performing at prominent events, such as Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest and Virgin Daiquiri The female-only improv troupe. In 2012, she became a celebrity because she appeared on "Saturday Night Live" in Season 39 as a cast member as a co-anchor on Weekend Update with Seth Meyers at first and Colin Jost later. One of her most memorable moments was when she portrayed the role of "The girl whom you'd like to not have had a conversation with at a event'. In the same year she released her debut film the short film 'How to Sponsor the Uterus'.
